  General Notes:

Parents of Margaret Susan were (Dr.) William Wilson, son of Thomas Wilson and Agnes Johnston. He was born 25 Apr 1815 in Albany, Barr Parish, Ayrshire, and died 16 Nov 1875 at Clachanton (a farm), Colmonell, Ayrshire. He married Margaret Doig (aka Doak) on 24 Mar 1838 in Barr Parish. Margaret was born on 05 Nov 1815 in Dalrymple Parish, Ayrshire and died 19 Oct 1909 in Albany Village, Ballantrae, Ayrshire.
They had 8 children, all born in Colmonell, of which Margaret Susan was the youngest:

William was a general practitioner in Colmonell and graduated L.F.P.S. Glasgow in 1837. He was registered in the Medical Register on 31 December 1858 . By 1871, he was a farmer of 400 acres as well as a surgical practitioner. As you can see, 5 of their children died very young-from 1 week to 6 years of age.

He worked as a Licentiate(?) of the College of Glasgow / General Practioner in 1851 and resided at Colmonell, Ayreshire. ⁹ (with wife Margaret, daughter Agnes, mother in law Mary Doig, sister-in-law Elizabeth Doig, nephew John Murchie(?) and a servant - note the transcription is full or errors so needs a better look)

He worked as a Surgeon in 1858 and resided at Colmonell, Ayreshire. ¹⁰

He worked as a L.F.P.S. Glasgow, General Practioner in 1861 and resided at Main St, Colmonell, Ayreshire. ¹¹ (with daughters Agnes and Elizabeth, nephew William Wilson, niece Mary Ann Allan and a servant - not sure where the Margarets, wife and daughter, are)

He worked as a Farmer (400 Acres 100 Arold General Practiliener S F P) in 1871 and resided at Colmonel, Ayreshire. ¹²

Dr. married Margaret Doig, daughter of John Doig and Mary Limond, on 24 Mar 1838 in Barr By Girvan, Ayr, Scotland.¹ (Margaret Doig was born on 5 Nov 1815 in Dalrymple Parish, Ayreshire ¹³ and died on 19 Oct 1909 in Albany Villa, Ballantrae, Ayr ^{7 14}.)
