Did he die about 1790? We have a burial for his wife Elizabeth in 1791 9although I can't find the original source).

Daughter Elizabeth would have been about 11 so old enough to go into service iof some kind before marrying in 1802.

Son John would have been about 8. He seems to have taken on the name Hart so maybe he was taken in by a family of that name. With his first son William it seems likely that might have been his adopted father's name and there is a William Hart in St Mary's married to Mary 1779 and having children until the early 1800s. Another William Hart, probably his son, is a FWK of Bunker's Hill Yard near Long Row in the early 1800s.

Son Joseph would have been too young to fend for himself and ended up 1841 in his mother's hometown of Melbourne, Derbys. Maybe he was sent back to relatives on his mother's death.

John married Elizabeth Coombs on 28 May 1780 in St Marys, Nottingham.^{1 2} (Elizabeth Coombs was buried on 14 Apr 1791 in St Marys, Nottingham ⁴.)
