Frederick Beresford 3 4
![]() General Notes: His death is still a bit of a mystery. The only Frederick Beresford death found between 1871 and 1881 was that of a 52 year old carpenter boarding in Duston just outside Northampton. No other trace can be found of the second Frederick so if this was our Frederick what happened to him between 1871 and 1874? It is worth noting that his father-in-law with whom the family lived for a while was a carpenter. ![]() Chronology: In 1841 he was a Male Servant working at Lenton Hall, Notts. His name was recorded as "Frederic". 8 In 1846 at the time of his marriage he was a Lacemaker living in Baldwin St, Nottingham. 9 In 1851 the family was living in Park St, Lenton with his Father-In-Law. 10 In 1861 he was a Lacemaker living with his family in Park St, Lenton. 11 In 1871 he was described as a Lace Manufacturer and was still in Park St, Lenton with his family. 12 ![]() Frederick married Mary Ann Whittaker, daughter of Joseph Whittaker and Elizabeth Valland, on 15 Mar 1846 in Radford St Peter, Nottingham.1 2 (Mary Ann Whittaker was born in 1822 in Draycott, Derbys 13, christened on 12 Oct 1822 in Wilne, Derby,14 died on 4 Jul 1891 in 70 Queens Walk, Nottingham 15 16 and was buried on 6 Jul 1891 in Lenton 17.) |
