Put her tentatively here as child of Richard and Margaret. Dates agree, she has a child Margaret and DA said her father was Richard.

Marmaduke and Frances had a boarder living with them in 1851 - William DOAR, born about 1829 in Sandiacre. He was described as Marmaduke's brother in law. Frances had a brother William Richard who was born about that time. This would tend to confirm the theory that Frances was the daughter of Richard and Peggy.

"George Doar of Sandiacre committed for one month or pay the fine of 1l.14s.0d for an assualt upon Marmaduke Atkin" from Derby Mercury 15 November 1843 copied by Chris Andrew - (MA was husband of GD's sister Frances?)
