In 1861 he was an Iron Miner living next door to Catherine's brothers in New Stapleford Rd, Stapleford. ²

In 1901 he was described as a Grocer Shopkeeper and was living with wife and some of their children at Albany terrace, Stapleford. ³

Isaac married Catherine Doar, daughter of John Doar and Mary Butler, on 16 Dec 1860 in Nottingham St Mary.¹ (Catherine Doar was christened on 8 May 1836 in Stapleford, Notts ⁴ and died after Mar 1901.)
