His age in 1891 and 1901 don't agree with his father's marriage. There is a Samuel Adkin b Sep 1882 Nottingham on freebmd as well. Could the marriage be wrong or did his father marry a fourth time (it could be his father's 1881 boarder Annie was his mother or could she be the Annie on 1891C? - although there is an Ann Hampson b1861 Shardlow who seems to have married in 1884)
