  General Notes:

Some of the events relating to Thomas Yeomans are speculation.

The couple's first 3 children were baptised in Halloughton, Notts which is a small village about 20k NE of Nottingham. The records do not appear on the NFHS CD but do appear as extracted records on IGI. Despite the location the dates fit perfectly with this Thomas and Fanny's family and there is no sign of another Thomas and Fanny. Possibly of interest is the fact that Fanny's family have a connection to Gedling which is on Nottingham's NE outskirts on the way to Halloughton.

The Nottingham Registry of Marriages has Thomas from p. (parish) Middleton co. Warwick which is about 50k SW of Nottingham about 10 k before Birmingham. There is a family of Yeomans baptised at Kingsbury about 5k SE of Middleton. This family had a Thomas b1737 (see below) - the only other Thomas on IGI in Warwick was b 1731. This Thomas' father is Richard and mother Mary both names appearing in Thomas and Fanny's children.

Unfortunately the age of this Thomas doesn't match our 1816 Radford burial (age 64) but there is no real evidence that this burial is our Thomas or if it is maybe we have a Thomas grandson of Richard of Kingsbury. There are a number of Yeomans baptised in Middleton in the 1760s, children of John and Ann so it is possible this is his family.

The other interesting item that probably is only coincidennce is that NFHS has a Thomas Yeomans/ Fannny marriage in Nottingham 1819 and the strange thing is Fanny's surname is Middleton.
