PTGray, Alexander's daughter (1790) is named for her grandmother Katherine (most probably Elspet's mother) (OPR) Elspet is probably the daughter of John Duncan/Katherine (Kattie) Grant of Fordyce whose marriage on 5/7/1763 is registered at both Fordyce and Rathven (why Rathven?). Elspet's sister is Katherine baptised 13/8/1765 at Fordyce.
