DH - "Grandmother's brother (Thompson) also came with them and took up land near Echuca. He has several descendants and between them and their in-laws thay appear to own most of the country thereabouts - they are very prosperous graziers etc."
There were also a Paul and Maria Thompson on the ship. Paul's death should eliminate or otherwise based on birthplace and/or parents.
