![]() General Notes: No clear connection to Charles but he was born at about the same time in the small village of Plaistow so a good chance he is his brother. ![]() Chronology: He worked as a Salesman in 1824 and resided at Plaistow, Essex. 4 In 1841 he was a Salesman living at Barking Road, Plaistow with wife and children. Also with were George? Weatherley, 14, (see 1851) and Charles French, 31, Butcher, not born in Essex (son, nephew?). Note that in 1851 sons Richard and William are butchers in Rotherhithe, Kent. 5 In 1851 he was a Sheep Salesman living in New Road, Plaistow with wife and children and niece Eliza Weatherley?. 6 ![]() John married Maria Challis on 18 Jun 1823 in West Ham, Essex.1 (Maria Challis was born in 1798 in Vange Hall, Essex 2 and died in 1883 in Camberwell 1.) |

He married MARIA CHALLIS 18 June 1823 in West Ham, daughter of ANTHONY CHALLIS and MARY. She was born in 1798 in Vange, Essex, and died December 1883 in Camberwell.
