making some assumptions with george.

- it seems likely that the george father of Richard and bridget is the husband of Sarah Haigh based on the dates and no other candidates.

- it seems at least possible that Charles was baptised when close to death at about 3 years old. this would give George time to marry Elizabeth shaw and have Sarah in 1807 (Sarah in honour of his recently decesased wife?)

[update - two children were baptised in denby 1801 and 1803 to john Turton and Elizabeth Shaw - was Sarah's father in 1807 mistrancribed as George?]
