General Notes:
After 1861 I've found nothing definite on this family although in 1871 in the Ipswich Workhouse is a Harriett Johnson, 11, b Needham Market with her sister Maria, 8, b Nacton, Suffolk (there is no Maria Johnson on freebmd births for Nacton around 1862). Our Harriet was born in Ipswich but her mother was from Needham and maybe went back there while Harriet was young. There is a Henry Johnson freebmd death and a Maria Johnson birth in Thetford in 1862 although this is not near Nacton. In 1901 there is a Susan Johnson, 63, single b Stowmarket occ laundress in the Islington workhouse (note our Susan was a laundress in 1861) - I can find no trace of her prior to 1901.

She worked as a Laundress in 1861 and resided at Bloomfield St, Ipswich. 3
Susan married Henry Johnson Jul to Sep 1858 in Ipswich, Suffolk (reg).1 (Henry Johnson was born Cal 1835 in Playford, Suffolk.)
