William Lucas

  General Notes:

We know that William was born in Suffolk and in 1841 the family is in Woolpit about 8 km NW along the Bury St Edmunds road. We know also that at least his youngest two children Nathan and Thomas were born in Needham and in 1851 Thomas was staying with John's brother Charles Lucas there. Another indication of a connection with John 's family is that in 1861 son Nathan is a baker in West St Harwich just around the corner from his widow Sarah and her daughters.
