Lavinia Adelaide Roberts ^{3 4}

  Chronology:

In 1871 she was living with her parents at 78 Berner St in the former St George-in-the-East Parish, Tower Hamlets. The cesnus sheet shows her as what looks lke Tavenier(?) but based on the details of the other family members I'm reasonably confident that this is just a mistranscription of Lavinia. ⁹

In 1881 she was living with her parents at "Back of Island Row", close to West Ferry Rd, Poplar and was working as a Domestic Servant. ¹⁰

In Sep 1887 at the time of her marriage she was a 21 year spinster living at 330 Grosvenor Buildings, Poplar, the same address given by her husband. No occupation was recorded but her father was described as a Fishmonger. ²

In 1891 she was living at Fish Shop, 1 Strattondale Rd, Poplar with her family and brother Robert Roberts, Fishmonger. Another brother, William Henry Roberts, lived in 2 rooms at the same address. ¹¹

In 1901 she was living with her husband, seven children and a boarder in a house of at least five rooms at 44 Galbraith Rd, Poplar. ¹²

She resided in Mar 1915 in 246 Manchester Road, Poplar. ¹³

Lavinia married William James Hubert, son of William Hubert and Esther Lucas, on 15 Sep 1887 in Registry Office, Poplar.^{1 2} (William James Hubert was born on 2 May 1858 in Wycks Bishop St, Ipswich, Suffolk ^{4 14 15} and died on 20 Nov 1926 in St Andrews Hospital, Bow and Bromley ^{16 17}.)
