[NOTE on the Other EMANUEL: In 1841 there is an Emanuel Hayball, 18, Cotton Factory Labourer, living in Bath Street Chard with a Frances Staple, 25. I can find no record of a second Emanuel and I guess it is possible this is a duplicate recording. Initially based on the occupations (Mason vs Cotton Factory Labourer) I thought theEmanuel with Frances might have been Harriet's husband but the 1851 residence in Donyatt along with the family names of the children seem to discount this.]
