![]() General Notes: Note that there is in 2007 a Meikle Cantly about 3k south of Grange Crossroads and the closest farm but one is Muiryfold (according to the OED "meikle" is a form of "mickle" meaning "great" hence "Great Cantly" which would make sense). ![]() Chronology: He resided in 1711 in "in Cantly". 2 ![]() James married Isobel Muirie before 1694.
