Suspect William Escombe was the son of Robert Escombe & Ann, christened 17th Aug 1777 at Temple Church, Bristol (IGI & Ancestry)
William Escombe & Sophia Hubert's children:
1) oldest daughter was Sophia, not Sophie. Born about 1824 Westminster, died Q1 1902 Lewisham (unmarried)
2) Mary Ann Hubert Escombe born 11th Mar 1827 & christened 29th Apr 1827 St John Westminster (see Ancestry for register image). One of 37 killed on 31st Dec 1895 in a train crash at Glencoe, Natal along with 3 family members.
3) Alice Escombe born 20th Apr 1830 & christened 26th May 1830 at St John Westminster (see Ancestry for register image), married 8th Aug 1857, died Q3 1858 Hastings

On 12th Feb 1822 (3 weeks after the marriage of Henry to Hannah Mann) Sophia married William Escombe at St Margaret's Church, Westminster - the one by Abingdon Street. The marriage was witnessed by Henry Hubert & R Escombe (Ancestry parish registers).
