Unfortunately the presence of two surviving daughters born 1813 and 1819 and a family notice announcing the marriage of his "3rd daughter", Geraldine born 1826 seems to exclude Margaret/Mary being slipped into this family. The family was heavily connected to the Services and Establishment making Harry Wells an unlikely match. Margaret married Henry Wells, son of Joseph Wells and Jane Armstrong, on 29 Apr 1843 in Launceston, Tasmania.1 2 (Henry Wells was christened on 27 Sep 1813 in Basingstoke, Hampshire, England 4 and died on 22 May 1861 in Charlotte Street, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia 5 6.)
