There is an item in the 1846 The Christian miscellany, and family visitor 1846 referring to son John and a connection with a "Mr Doar"
It seems likely that Abraham Doar moved into John's house after the death of Hannah - there by 1881
John Smedley, b abt 1796 Sandiacre, Lace Manufacturer (as on MAS 1837 marriage) husband of Hannah with 3 children in 1851 and 1861. In 1861 he is in Town St, Sandiacre with house and shop not far along from William Doar b 1826.
In 1871 William Smedley is next door to Abraham Doar.
This marriage fits with Hannah being born Bestwood Park 1851C and Bulwell 1861C(even closer to Nuthall) - no other Notts candidates from 1815 to 1851
So we either have John m Ann Cook (b 1797 Notts) abt 1815 - Ann also known as Hannah and she lives on until after 1871 -or- Ann (also known as Hannah ) dies between 1830 and 1832 when John marries Hannah Walker -or- its another John altogether tho that seems unlikely considering the Town St connection and occup Lacemaker from WD/MAS marriage cert.
In 1841 he was a Lacemaker living at Green, Sandiacre with wife Hannah, 6 children and his mother (?). 11
In 1851 he was a Lace Manufacturer living in Sandiacre, Derby with wife Hannah and children Elizabeth, Ann and Joshua. 12
He worked as a Lace Manufacturer empl. 11? men and 15 girls in 1861 and resided at House & Shop, Town St?, Sandiacre. 13
John married Ann Cook on 7 Nov 1815 in Sandiacre.12 (Ann Cook was born before 1795 in (of Sandiacre) and died before 1823.)
John next married Hannah Stevenson on 6 Nov 1823 in Sandiacre, Derby.34 (Hannah Stevenson was born Cal 1797 in (of Sandiacre) 14, christened on 29 Mar 1797 in Bulwell, Notts 15 and died after 1871.)
