Worked in Agricultural Bank of W.A., later to become Rural & Industries Bank and then BankWest. Eileen was one of Applecross's most highly respected citizens, giving much practical aid to local activities and the Red Cross. She was an early contibutor to The Applecross News being well qualified to write on local history. Her hobbies included reading and gardening. (Obituary)
