  General Notes:

It is likely that she looked after William, possibly in the Sandiacre home of her parents and then on their death in the Stanton home of her brother William. She didn't marry and paid for his apprenticeship.

From the indenture papers ...."William Doar nephew of Catharine Doar of Sandiacre in the County of Derby doth put himself Apprentice to William Coxon of Sandiacre in the County of Derby Cordwainer ............... AND the said Master for and in Consideration of the sum of Four Pounds Fourteen Shillings and Sixpence to him in hand well and truly paid by the said Catharine Doar....."

  Chronology:

In 1871 she is described as living in Sandiacre. 3

For some time before her death in 1814 she must have resided in Stanton by Dale. Her burial entry states "of Stanton" as does her Letter of Administration 1804. It is likely she moved there after the deaths of her parents. 4
