In 1881 he was a Railway Engine Stoker and living in 8 West St, Ilkeston with wife and family. 10 11
In 1891 he was a Colliery Store Keeper and living at Hade? St Ilkeston with Ellen and family. 12 13
Thomas married Ellen Lynch Oct to Dec 1876 in Basford.1 (Ellen Lynch was born Cal 1858 in Ilkeston, Derbys 10 and died after 1901 14.)
