It was his first time in the US and his last permanent residence was given as Stanton by Dale and his final destination as his Uncle Harold's in Sarles, ND. He paid his own fare, carried either no money or 11 dollars, gave his occupation as "Farm labourer" and was tall for the time at 5' 10 1/2" with green eyes and brown hair.
