Her age is a bit of a mystery. In the four censuses we have it can be calculated as 1816, 1821 and 1826.

She worked as a China Shop in 1861 and resided at Clifton Rd, Camberwell. 4

In 1871 she was a widow and Keeping a China Shop in 51 Clifton Road, Camberwell, Surrey with step-daughter Elizabeth. Her brother-in-law Thomas' daughter Ada was also staying with her. 5

In 1881 she is still at 51 Clifton Rd, Camberwell, now with two boarders. Her age is shown as 60 and her birthplace Southwark which disagrees with the previous census. step daughter Elizabeth and husband are also at this address. 6
