  General Notes:

"Oct 7th Alex'r Hacket in Cowbog had a son baptized called William before Witnesses Alex Darcy(?) & And'w Sim both there"

It is worth noting that he married Mary shortly after the death of his widowed mother and that he erected a large headstone in Alvah to his mother and father about this time. At the time he erected the stone and at the time of his marriage he was "of Mains of Fedderet". Did he move to this farm from Turriff at that time and were these maybe his children by a previous marriage - he is described as "of Turriff". Turriff is in between Marnoch, Alvah and Mains of Fedderet.
