General Notes: "This afternoon Alexander Hacket Lawful Son to Alex'r Hacket and Cristian Wilson in Cairniewhing was baptized before several witnesses particularly Mr George Rofe in Pittulie and Mr Alex'r Wilson schollmaster at Monquhitor" Chronology: He resided in 1749 in "in the Parish of Tyrie". 5 He resided from 1750 to 1763 in Cowbog, Aberdour, Aberdeen. 6 He resided from 1765 to 1793 in Kirktown of Alvah, Banff. 7 He worked as a Farmer before 1793 and resided at Kirktown of Alva. 8 Alexander married Jean Park, daughter of James Park and Unknown, on 3 Sep 1749 in Aberdour (Aberdeen).1 (Jean Park was born on 12 Mar 1727/28 in Cruden, Aberdeenshire,9 died on 5 Mar 1806 10 and was buried in Alvah, Banff.) Marriage Notes: "September 3rd Alexander Hacket in Tyrie and Jean Park in this parish were orderly married" |
