General Notes: His son Harry, was killed in the 1st World War. He has no known grave but his death is commemorated on the Arras Memorial, Pas De Calais, France bay 3 & 4, and on both the Sandiacre War Memorial and his parents graves in Sandiacre in the cemetery adjacent to the church. |
