Sarah Gloins 2
General Notes: Informant on death certificate : Ann Lawrence Chronology: She worked as a Storekeeper in 1841 and resided at Coombs, Chard, Somerset. 5 (with son John and daughter Harriet) Sarah married Phillip Hayball, son of Phillip Hayball and Ann Forsey, on 29 Mar 1805 in Chard, Somerset, England.1 (Phillip Hayball was born in 1785, christened on 5 Jan 1785 in Chard, Somerset, England and died on 29 Dec 1839 in Chard, Somerset, England.) Marriage Notes: Neither the Banns nor the Marriage entry give anything other than Sarah GLOINS was of the Parish of Chard but, interestingly, Sarah signed the register, whereas Philip made his mark. The witnesses don't help either: H.CHAPMAN and John BENNETT appear regular signatories during this period. |
