LAYCOCK - On March 31, at her residence, Fenton Street, West Devonport, Mary Hannah, wife of the late G. A. Laycock, in her 74th year.

FUNERAL
The funeral of the late Mary Hannah Laycock will leave her late residence, Fenton Street, West Devonport, on Tuesday 2nd instant, at 2 p.m.,
for the Don Cemetery. Friends are invited to attend. Jeffrey, undertaker. ...........The North West Post 1st April 1912
About People
One of the pioneers of the Devonport district passed away yesterday in the person of Mrs. Laycock, relict of the late Mr. G. A. Laycock, at
the age of 74 years. The deceased, who was a native of Yorkshire, England, arrived in Devonport with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard
Beaumont, in 1855, and had been a resident of the town for 57 years. Her husband pre-deceased her some 27 years ago. She leaves a
grown up family of thirteen, seven sons and six daughters, and a brother, Mr. James Beaumont, of Don. There are now only four of the original settlers remaining, viz., Messrs. H. Carter, M. Wood, T. Lodge, and J. Naylor. The funeral will take place at the Don cemetery tomorrow
