  General Notes:

Migrated to Tas abt 1855? - A tenant on Appledore from about 1855?

2 births 1803/1804 on IGI for Almondbury and 2 Richards on 1851C but only one on 1861C.

20060304 - there are 2 Richards aged 47 living in Almondsbury in 1851 and both are married to a Mary. The Richard living next door to James in 1851 is not on the 1861 census which fits with him migrating about 1855. We have brothers James and Allen "with their father" in Tasmania in 1856 and we have an IGI christening record for Allen in 1827 showing mother as "Mary Drake".

On the IGI christenings of John (1825) and Ann (1831) we see the mother as Mary Wilson. There is no Richard Beaumont/Mary Wilson marriage on IGI. There are no children named John or Ann found for Richard Beaumont/Mary Drake so we might assume that Richard (m Mary Wilson) is the son of John Beaumont and Ann leaving our Richard Beaumont to be the son of Joshua and Mary.
