![]() General Notes: "It is not known when he was born but the date of his death is taken from a newspaper article: The Daily Advertiser Monday November 30 1772: Early in the morning of the 25th instant died Mr Henry Hubert, Coal Merchant, of Little Abingdon Street, Westminster, leaving a disconsolate widow and eight small children; she takes this Opportunity to inform the Nobility, Gentry, and others, that she intends to carry on the Business with her late Husband's Partner, Mr. Henry Savory, of Leicester-Street, Swallow-Street, St James's; and likewise at their Wharf in Little Abingdon-Street, Westminster, and humbly beg the Continuance of their Favours, which shall be executed with Care and Dispatch ![]() Chronology: He resided as Land Tax in 1767 in Abingdon Buildings, Westminster. 4 ![]() Henry married Hannah Styles on 20 Apr 1755 in St James, Westminster.1 (Hannah Styles was born on 3 Oct 1729 in Moulsham, near Chelmsford, Essex, died on 19 Nov 1810 in "home of son-in-law, Thomas Cundy", Pimlico and was buried in 1810 in St Johns burial ground, Westminster.) |
