He worked as a Carpenter in 1871 and resided at 2 Lower Park Rd, Bristol. ¹⁰ (age 45, with wife Lydia who is described as "Matron of the Repository" and an Assistant Matron and a Servant)

He worked as a Porter clerical (?) in 1881 and resided at Red Cross St, St Philip & Jacob, Bristol. ¹¹

He worked as a Carpenter in 1891 and resided at Red Cross St, St Phillip & Jacob, Bristol. ¹² (with wife Lydia)

Francis married Lydia Lock in Mar 1862 in Southwark (reg).¹ (Lydia Lock was born Cal 1824 in Ringwood, Hampshire ¹¹ and died in Sep 1916 in Keynsham (reg) ¹³.)
