General Notes:
In 2008 this photo of four young children was in the possession of a grandson of Ruby Barrett (nee Hayball). It was one of only a handful of photos the family had from Port Pirie so although it was without caption it seems very likely that it shows Ruby and her 3 brothers, Alfred at the rear, Frederick seated on the left and William on the right. If so the date would have to be not much earlier than July 1901 when Ruby's eldest brother died. Frederick died a year later in 1902.
Ruby married John Frederick Barrett, son of John Barrett and Unknown, circa 1922. (John Frederick Barrett was born in 1899 in South Australia 3.)
