General Notes:
I haven't found her birth or a record of her after 1851. 1841 is only a possibility. Later there is an interesting possiblity - a Susan Lucas married a Henry Johnson in Ipswich in 1858 according to freebmd. The 1861 census has a Henry Johnson with wife Susan born Needham and daughter Harriett, 1, in Ipswich. This looked good but in 1851 in Needham is Susan Lucas 10 year old daughter of James and Patience.
Chronology:
She worked as a Female Servant in Hotel in 1841 and resided at Staines, Middlesex. 3 (This is only a possibility - this Susan was 12 and born outside Middlesex and there seems to be no other candidate. Also her sister, Eliza, was working in a hotel ten years later)
She worked as a Knitter in 1851 and resided at Kings Head Street, Harwich, Essex. 2 (with her mother)
Susan married Henry Holden Oct to Dec 1852 in Tendring (reg).1 (Henry Holden was born Cal 1830 in Harwich, Essex.)
