From Margaret Innes 2008: "Margaret Innes daughter of Alexander & Helen born 23/01/1768 in Farskan was named after Margaret Watson his mother amongst others. I orginally thought it read her mother but after looking again at the list of Alexander Innes's I find Alexander born 13/05/1739 to William Innes and Margaret Watson. It is surprising that none of the boys were named William after his father but who can say."
