(10) In memory of the Rev. ROBT. GRANT, late Minister of Cullen, who died 9th April, 1808, in the 78th year of his age, and 54th of his ministry. A diligent pastor, an affectionate husband, indulgent parent, and warmhearted friend. And, in testimony of regard for his well-known merit, this stone is erected by his son-in-law, the Rev. ALEXR. GRAY, minister of Ordiquhil. Here also lies interred his spouse, ELIZABETH DUNCAN, who died on the 31st day of August, 1809, aged 70.

[PTG 2007]On 7/3/1763 John Duncan of Broom, together with Alexander Innes a merchant of Cullen were among the witnesses at the baptism of Elspet Grant, daughter of the Rev. Robert Grant and Elizabeth Duncan. On 15/6/1764 John Duncan was a witness at the baptism of Magdalene Innes in the manse at Rathven. On 23/1/1768 he was a witness at the baptism of Margaret Innes, daughter of Alexander Innes and Nellie Grant at Tarskin. On 22/12/1771, John Duncan of Broom was witness to the baptism of Elizabeth Grant, daughter of Robert Grant and Elizabeth Duncan.

Robert married Elizabeth Duncan, daughter of Patrick Duncan and Elspet Milne, on 5 Jul 1759. (Elizabeth Duncan was born on 16 Mar 1738/39, died on 31 Aug 1809 in Cullen and was buried in 1809 in Cullen ².)
